Sew the White Twirly Fascinator Lining together FIRST by sewing the cast-on edge to the cast-off edge to form a long tube. A simple tacking stitch from front to back should do it. Leave the ends open.

Now stretch and sew the Dusty Pink Twirly Fascinator over the top leaving the ends open to insert the wire.

Insert the bonsai wire into the plastic tubing and measure it against the fascinator band. Cut the plastic wire a bit longer than you need so that you can bend the ends over into a mini circle. You don’t want it to poke through the knitting.

Insert the plastic-covered wire into the seam of the band (where the cast-off and cast-on edges have been sewn together) and secure it into place with some loose tacking stitches.

And again — the rest is up to you. Be game and pin before you sew. Oh, and add a couple of strategically placed felted balls.
